Dear readers,

Our provincial awareness-raising tour of the province’s police forces is now complete and the year 2017 is looking just as busy, with a host of activities targeting the general public to make Crime Stoppers better known.

Our Board of Directors, consisting exclusively of volunteers, has ratified this goal of giving citizens a better impression of our organization’s mission.

While informant anonymity remains our absolute priority, there is now a pressing need to impress on the public the need to share information with us.

Therefore, don’t be surprised if you hear a lot about Crime Stoppers in the coming months.

In addition to our marketing, advertising and development, we are making more public appearances and media interventions to emphasize our organization’s benefits.

This approach makes no change in our participation and involvement in many community programs.

In a word, we will be placing full emphasis on our motto: Together, we are Crime Stoppers!
