For 25 years now, we have been supporting you and working together to make Crime Stoppers! It was on February 13, 1996 that Mr. Raymond Medza chaired the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the organization then known as Info-crime Quebec inc.
On May 8, 1996, the Financial Institutions General Inspector issued the letters patent to info-crime Québec. Since that time, Info-crime Québec has changed its name to the one you know today, Crime Stoppers Quebec.
Each year, we receive numerous reports of criminal information which we forward to the police services while preserving the ANONYMITY of the caller. Crime Stoppers activities are possible in large part because of your valuable information.
Even today, we respect the vision that was expressed by our founders and we wish to continue for several years to awaken the social conscience of citizens, to sensitize them to their civic responsibilities and to help the police in their efforts to protect society from crime.
2021 is a year of great change for many and Crime Stoppers is no exception. This year we bring you our revamped website and improved, easy-to-use online reporting module.
